Hi, my name is Madhu Kiran. I am here to share my views on mental health with reference to a statement
“ There is no health without mental health “ .
Talking about your feelings can help you stay in good mental health and deal with times when you feel troubled. Talking about your feelings isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s part of taking charge of your well being and doing what you can to stay healthy. Now that I believe in Holistic Healing ways with a journey of Self transformation. I dare to break my cages ,talk about this and shout out to the world .. I’m here to share my story …
It all started in 2018 , when I had my first appointment with Dr. R searching for help with my depression, anxiety, and my overall health. She showed me “N” number of reasons for my problem and the “X” factor which was pulling me back to hold myself . over the years i had slowly developed disordered eating, and my dietary choices were as unhealthy and out of control as ever. Additionally, my anxiety and depression swings and negative self-talk were at their peak. Looking back, I can see now that i used to be during a constant state of misalignment in mind, body, and spirit. Additionally to my physical and mental state crashing down, I also felt very alone then, which just precipitated my symptoms and made them worse. (I now know this is often a state of being and a reality that I created for myself. this can be your reminder that you just aren’t alone either.
After my first two appointments ,she got a history and reviewed my labs with me, she recommended to visit the Psychotherapist which made me look into myself and instead of the treatment I chose the holistic way . I joined the 3-Month Mastery program of Relax N Rejuvenate with a Yoga and Meditation center.
That there have been answers and solutions, which the programs would teach me a way to find my underlying causes and the way to heal myself. I used to be so clueless to the planet of functional medicine and integrative health, but I felt intuitively that THIS was the time to create a change and find answers.
I started my Spiritual discourses, unfalteringly and hope! once I reviewed my labs and was able to see what a number of the underlying causes of my symptoms were, I felt as if a large weight had been lifted; i used to be able to see tangible explanations for why i used to be experiencing what i used to be. It didn’t desire such a mystery, I had a target to aim at.
With all these practices and unexpected family circumstances, I felt like, I was still in the middle of nowhere. Then I have come across this wonderful program HNTP — Holistic Nutrition Training Program which is being led by Dr Suresh Kumar Vunnamattula , under the Holistic Nutrition works @https://holisticnutritionworks.com/, whom I have worked with earlier in life .
In the journey of my transformation into a Holistic coach , first step was, being a Nutritionist I explored the ways to change my diet and determine what I should eat supported how food could support my body to detox and performance at its highest. Everything that I learned in my program allowed me to determine my symptoms and conditions for what they honestly were and take away the emotion that I had related to it for as long as I could remember.
Yes, my thoughts, emotions, and belief systems also played an enormous role in my symptoms and health. Working with the fellow coaches of the Holistic Health team was amazing because ALL the coaches focus on different facets of healing, so I had a whole team right at my fingertips who all worked together to show me the way to heal myself.
There were many challenges during the year, but one in every of the toughest (yet most necessary) was to shed layers of myself. Any healing and growth journey usually requires this folks. I might venture to mention that it always does. The sole factor that differs is what percentage times we must do that, which isn’t variety we’ve the privilege of knowing at the start.
We can only opt to commit and trust that irrespective of what, that layer that’s not serving us and a greater, stronger layer are going to be revealed. We are able to trust that if we are pursuing our betterment in mind, body, spirit what becomes exposed at the tip will always be what was for our ultimate good and highest version of ourselves.
Our Mind/Body/Spirit team at @https://holisticnutritionworks.com/ is amazing, and that they gave me the courage to shed what was not serving me, and that they taught me the way to get my “learnings” from my past in order that I could create the long run I desired (in life, health, finances, love, relationships… everything).
I have “lightened the load” that parts of my past life had on me and have learned to nurture a broader version of myself. I buy to prioritize my alignment and balance instead of a lifetime of attachment. This only came as a results of addressing ALL facets of health, the tangible and intangible. I’m not petrified of that naked, vulnerable feeling within myself after losing a layer because I do know it’s making space for the truest version of myself and that I can then CHOOSE a way to or if I need to bring that a part of myself back in and to what degree.
I’m never losing myself, I’m finding myself. I wish this clarity and freedom for you too!
Here are some of my takeaways from my journey that I continue to remind myself of, and I hope resonate with you:
- Don’t be frightened of investing in yourself financially and accepting/asking for help if you wish to. You’re worthwhile. Investing in yourself will provide you with the simplest return you’ll ever evoke. the sole resolution is thru the method, and sometimes that process asks of you to commit and invest from the start. It’s an energy flow, a quantum law that to receive, you want to give (to yourself).
- Become your own doctor. Become your own guarantee! Educate and empower yourself. DIVE IN. Read books, hear podcasts. It’ll build your knowledge on a way to really take care of your mind/body/spirit, so you’ll be able to heal. Plus, it’ll build self-confidence.
- Remember that simplifying doesn’t mean you’re missing out, especially when it involves diet and food. It can provide space to work out food for what it truly is: nourishment and fuel to measure our greatest, most energized life.
- Write yourself your very own manifesto. and each time the going gets tough, you have got it to refer back to. STAY IN IT. Your WHY is your most vital tool.
- The more empathy you gain for yourself, the more you may have for others. this is often an attractive side effect and may desire a superpower that starts with choosing your OWN healing and health journey.
- Don’t underestimate the ripple effect that choices you create so as to raised yourself will wear others around you.
- It won’t be perfect… ever. which is okay. Perfection is that the enemy of progress.
- There will be periods of grief for those layers of yourself that you simply shed. this can be also okay. Be brave, there’s nothing to fear. Make space. Write, cry, laugh, yell, dance. you may prevail. I repeat, STAY IN IT. Then welcome within the new with a gratitude for your past self that ultimately led you to the present point.
